The China Study: Startling Implications for Diet, Weight Loss and Long-Term Health
The China Study: The Most Comprehensive Study of Nutrition Ever Conducted and the Startling Implications for Diet, Weight Loss and Long-Term Health
By T. Colin Campbell, PhD, and Thomas Campbell II, MD
The China Project, is the most comprehensive study of health and nutrition ever conducted. The Project was a monumental survey of diet and death rates from cancer in more than 2, 400 Chinese counties. The results explore the significance and implications for nutrition and health, leading to the conclusion that degenerative diseases like heart disease, type-2 diabetes, and several forms of cancer, could be prevented, and in many cases reversed, by adopting a whole-foods, plant-based diet. The China Project gave us a simple but powerful answer: Eat a diet based on whole, plant-based food, and dramatically reduce your risk of a broad spectrum of diseases, including heart disease, obesity, diabetes, and cancer.
