The following organizations work to advocate, educate, promote and certify organic food.
California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF) CCOF is a full-service organic certification agency and trade association passionate about being the leading voice for organic food. CCOF is also active in certifying, educating, advocating, and promoting organic food. |
National Organic Coalition (NOC) is a national alliance of organizations working to provide a voice in Washington D.C. for farmers, ranchers, environmentalists, consumers and industry members involved in organic agriculture. The NOC seeks to advance organic food and agriculture and ensure a united voice for organic integrity. |
Organic Consumers Association (OCA) is a consumer protection and organic agriculture advocacy group based in Finland, Minnesota. |
USDA Certified Organic (USDA) The United States Department of Agriculture maintains organic standards that must meet specific requirements by a USDA-accredited certifying agent before products can be labeled USDA organic. This certification applies to organic crops, livestock and multi-ingredient food. See the USDA National Organic Standards. |
