Eating You Alive
“We’re eating ourselves into the grave.” ~ Dr. Joel Fuhrman
Eating You Alive is wake-up call about how our American diet—based heavily on animal and processed foods—is making us chronically ill and causing our premature death. What’s worse, as the film points out, is that our medical doctors, hospitals and institutions are not financially incentivized to keep us healthy. Keeping us sick is highly lucrative not only for hospitals and insurance companies, but for the big pharmaceuticals.
Eating You Alive shares the personal stories of people who suffered from cancer, heart disease, chronic illnesses, obesity and auto-immune diseases—by living on an animal-based, processed food, high fat diet. But when each transitioned to a whole foods, plant-based diet—they lost weight, lowered cholesterol, kicked the hypertension, cured the cancer, lost the diabetes, cleared the plaque, and got healthy, happy and became full of life.
The film shares the reasons why a plant-based diet is so important and healthy for us. The film is chock-full of helpful, useful information about how to eat right by the leading experts in plant-based nutrition. With half of all adults in the U.S. struggling with chronic health conditions and obesity, and half of all deaths in the U.S. attributable to cancer and heart disease that are preventable, it’s more important than ever to eat whole foods, plant-based nutrition to take control of our health.
Eating You Alive convincingly proves that we are truly what we eat. Watch it — your health truly depends on it!
